It was bought new by a chap that was told he needed a pistol if he was to get a job with a security company in Hungary. Once he purchased the pistol new he took it out to check that it worked and put two mags through it. From then on it was stored in a holster in his truck and never used again. He immigrated back to NZ in the late 1960's and brought it with him. It has been in his safe from then till now. So as the legend goes.. its as new apart from a rub mark on the back of the slide which I suspect is from where it was stored in its original plastic case. and a small amount of holster rub.
