Very rare and unusual in .303 calibre Mauser 98 sporting rifle, developed around 1902, is a notable derivative of the Mauser Model 98 action known for its durability and accuracy, specifically designed for big game hunting. Extremely nice and original condition with very good bore. Silvers type pad to the butt stock. Small peep sight fitted to action. Folding express sights from 100 to 300. Checkered at wrist and forend on a nice piece of wood with very little marks or dings. Sling swivels fitted. Has 99% original bright blue. All matching numbers and proofed for 303 EX Cordite.
